Diverse architectural teams are preparing the plans for  construction site segments 6-10. Werner Consult has been commissioned to prepare the plans for the support structures on construction sites 6-10, including general planning for the cross-construction process of the underground parking garages for the entire area. IRAN, TEHARAN - Barkat Hospital

Project Description:
The new Barakat hospital in Teheran is a role model project for this region. With a combination of sophisticated architecture, state-of-the-art medical technology and statically complex systems in one of the largest earthquake zones in the world the high-rise hospital will be built at a height of 80m.

The individual support structure width is 16.8m  to ensure sufficient flexibility of the structure . It features a sophisticated combination of steel, steel composite and steel-reinforced concrete products and building technology density. The project will be built within an extremely tight completion deadline . (Planning phase is only  8 months from the initial planning phase up to construction startup).

The challenge here is to build a safe hospital structure based on the previously outlined framework conditions, which will serve as a secure humanity center after the occurrence of severe natural disasters. In addition to the static safety, the object must also be equipped with state-of-the-art technology in the event of crisis, because failing  control units could be detrimental.
